This game is great for students who are first being introduced to the 100s chart. It helps students learn that they add one when moving horizontal across the chart, and add 10 when moving vertically down the chart.
Start at 1. Players take turns spinning the spinner.
Add either 1 or 10. Color (or write) in the sum in the correct square.
The winner is the first player who lands on 100.
There are two versions for differentiation. In the first, the students color in in the numbers as they travel towards 100. In the second (harder version), students write in the numbers as they travel towards 100.
I've also included black and white versions
Just print on cardstock and laminate for durability!
Spinners: Have students place a pencil in the center of the spinner and spin a paperclip around.
