This is one week's worth of in-depth lesson planning. These lesson plans address 10th Grade ELA Common Core standards in ways that promote critical thinking, text-to-life meaning, vocabulary development, and investigative analysis into especially characterization, author's purpose, themes, and symbolism. This set of plans is unique in that it also features a final exam that is originally created and comprised of multiple choice, matching, and short answer response questions. How characters either show constancy or change in character from the play's onset to its conclusion is also explored in depth.
This bundle deal includes heaps of original activities and questions that students will remember for a lifetime. Text-to-world connections are at the forefront of these meaningful, truly educational, life-long lessons. Overall, these plans are a small taste of the complete recipe that resulted in remarkable improvement in my class throughout the year, and I encourage others to explore the ideas found in them for the sake of helping our students to become the best people possible for our future.
