A great break in between testing…students learn about 11 great mysterious of the world. Students will get the opportunity to write about what they learn, draw what they learned, and vote whether they believe it to be true or not!
Included are Teacher info posters tell students all about the mystery item- vocabulary word wall cards come with each mystery…then students can vote on whether that mystery is really a mystery or a hoax…great for graphing, theorizing, etc…and to evaluate students understanding the typical classroom way comprehension worksheets are provided.
Teacher info Poster:
Info: What is it, how did it get its name, location, additional information, what’s the mystery, what do we know and what people think.
Journal: students write/draw about what they have learned or what they believe the possibilities are endless. Print one sheet for each mystery.
Students vote on whether the mystery is real by the facts given to them.
