I created this as a review of our amendments but to prep us for the movie. The students read three amendments (5-7) and break them apart. Also, they define and put into their own words what IMPARTIAL means. The second part of the worksheet is looking up three articles (from three given websites) and seeing how someone uses an amendment in writing. One is a viewpoint on the lady who sued McDonalds due to hot coffee, one is using 12 angry men as a reason in court case, and one is the difficulty of finding an impartial jury for the trial of the guy who shot Chris Kyle.
