120 Board / Number Sense Fun
This is a great spinner activity for your students who are working on developing number sense that fits right in with Common Core. Students can play in pairs or small groups working their way towards 120 on the board by spinning the spinner. Students put their pawns on 60 and then they spin. They will either get a plus one, minus one, plus ten, or minus ten. Some spinners even have Freeze which is basically a skip a turn. You just choose from the variety spinners which will help speed up or slow down the game to meet your student needs. Simply print/copy the board of your choice (Color and B&W Included) and add the spinner or a paperclip and pencil and your students are ready to go! Please see the preview which includes all pieces included in the file. I've never met a student who doesn't love a spinner activity. This is also a wonderful activity to keep available during math centers throughout the year so your late bloomers can practice this throughout the year as needed.
