I made this 120 chart activity to help my kinder kiddos work on number location or awareness. I ran 5 copies, one for each table. Then, I taped them together to form one large chart. It fits nicely on my student tables. I printed the even and odd numbered cards on the coordinating blue and green paper to make it easier to match. I stress the odd and even numbers but truthfully the focus is on becoming more familiar with number sequence and familiarity. I always go beyond 100 with my kinders.
When doing this activity, I would simply put the numbers in a bowl and each table would have to work together to match the numbers. I had them do this for a couple of weeks and I noticed that the tables who did not work together always finished last.
I did this towards the end of the year, but looking at next year, I may just give them pieces at a time to let them match numbers...possibly build up to the 120 chart.
I created this on my computer and I always try to remember to change the page format to a standard page, but I forgot on this one. I just now noticed, however, I printed it just fine. When you print, just be sure to select "fit" to page and look at it to be sure it looks right before printing.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you !
