Can your students use the 120 chart to add and subtract multiples of ten? Can they quickly locate where the number belongs on the chart and write it? These two place value games will build both of these first grade math skills quickly, and in a fun way! Great for review at the beginning of second grade, too!

What does this winter math game collection include?

* Snowy Day Flip and Find includes a board game in both color and black and white, along with 36 number clue cards, like "ten more than 63" or "ten less than 54". Players read a card, interpret the clue, find the space where the number is located on the 120 chart, and write the number, developing an early place value skill.

* Hot Cocoa Flip and Find works just like Snowy Day, but for extra challenge (and to keep your students reading carefully and thinking!) , there are also clues for one more and one less.

How can you use these place value games in your own classroom?

* Math centers

* Math tubs

* Independent practice

* Math tutors

* Classroom volunteers

* Early finishers

* Family Math Night

* Fun Friday
