Can be used for formative and/or summative assessment.
Page 1 has 120 blank squares for students to demonstrate their ability to write numbers in sequential order.
Page 2 is for students that have demonstrated the ability to write numbers to 120. Numbers start at 88 and continue to 215. Squares are randomly blanked out so students can not write 10, 20, 30 etc, down the page. They have to know the sequence of numbers and what number needs to follow a 9 (e.g 139, 140). Students must continue their sequence after the blacked out space and not skip a number.
I use this multiple times during the year to track students understanding and ability to write numbers.
