Included: 124 multiple-choice questions, directions and suggestions for effective implementation. There are 10 questions per unit (Rome, Islam, Africa, China, Japan, Europe, Americas, Renaissance, Reformation, Scientific Revolution, Age of Exploration, Enlightenment)
Purpose: Teachers can use this tool as:
1) A beginning-of-the-year pre-test for 7th graders in order to measure growth later
2) review for any unit throughout the year
3) A formal assessment for any unit, end-of-quarter, mid-term or final assessment
2) an informal assessment to gain immediate feedback about what their students know, how many students know, and on which topics the subsequent lessons/activities should be focused. This strategy can be used prior to, during, or after teaching a unit or lesson. It could be used as review anytime throughout the school year as well.
Preparation: a class set of key rings clipped with GREEN-YELLOW-MAGENTA-ORANGE-PURPLE squares (not included)
