Product Description
As a Teacher of the Deaf, I often meet with Regular and Special Education Teachers to inform them of their DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) Student(s) academic, behavioral and personal needs. I created this list of 13 Teacher Tips to help the teachers understand what they need to do in order to make their classroom environment accommodating for a DHH student. Teachers really appreciate this document because it outlines 13 topics that they initially may not have known impact the learning of a child and/or student who is Deaf and/or has Hearing Loss. I generally hand this sheet out at all student in-services and attach my contact information to the top so that the staff who serve my students know who to contact IF they have any further questions! Hope that you find this resource as beneficial as I do!
