This is a graphic organizer intended to accompany a novel study on 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher.
This graphic organizer is intended to help students summarize each side of each tape by listing characters prominent on that side and what Hannah's reason is. It also outlines space for students to note what is happening in the present versus the past, as the jumping around in time can get confusing.
Ultimately, it is meant to be a succinct summary to help students comprehend, and a way to look quickly back at what has been covered for clarification.
This was originally created for a 9th grade pull-out class. No key is included as it best serves as a discussion starter over the book.
Please note that the format shown in the thumbnail is not completely accurate. Everything is lined up nicely in the actual file.
