PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This zip file contains a Powerpoint with the words with student-friendly definitions and examples, cloze style notes for students, and a vocab quiz (grouped matching) with key. These are unit words, meaning that these are conceptual words, rather than vocabulary for reading.

The words are: alliteration, antagonist, conflict, hyperbole, metaphor, personification, point of view, protagonist, pun, onomatopoeia, simile, symbol, and theme.

This was originally created for a 9th grade pull-out special education class to cover a unit on 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher. That said, these vocabulary words could be used for any number of language arts studies.

Please rate after purchasing - I am always looking for ways to improve!
