16 Week "Reading Marathon Training" Record Sheet

It is helpful to approach time-on-task as though it were a marathon. If you want your unmotivated reader to spend more time reading, it isn't logical to begin their journey at two hour increments. Build their endurance! This record sheet has a 16 week reading endurance training schedule that is easy to follow. It also provides a space to write down a literacy goal (i.e. if a student is notorious for never completing a book, a goal I try to encourage is to simply read a book from beginning to end). There are also tips for teachers or parents to help motivate their student to read.
