These guided notes pages were created to accompany the 2+ day PowerPoint lesson for parallel and perpendicular lines. It is a comprehensive lesson to effectively teach how to identify parallel and perpendicular lines based on equations written in slope-intercept form.
Graphs of parallel and perpendicular lines are included to help students connect with the abstract concepts. I have found guided notes to be instrumental in helping students engage more with the material when less cognitive demand is placed on copying instructions and problems.
