A bit of history.
From the Nov 22 1907 - the famous Wilmington Giant
This is a finely done colored postcard Of a famous site. Well worth a Google.
This is a very dense scan (600 dpi) so that it can be enlarged and the details - including pen strokes and coloring details can be seen.
I rather like old postcards. Indeed I have been known to use them as a reason to learn cursive - as few of my students could resist the urge to read other peoples mail.
The thumbnails are very small images so that the load fast.
A nice addition to any lesson about Medieval Europe or for use in a literacy centre.
Personally I make this postcard into a card by printing the front on half a sheet of light card and the back so it displays on the inside left of the card.
Feed back would be really nice!!!!
