The 1920s are often referred to as one of three eras: The Age of Business, Age of Conservatism, or the Roaring Twenties. Students must organize terms into one of the three categories and provide a short explanation why they chose that particular category. You could shorten this activity by removing the explanation, but I believe it adds another level of comprehension. When I use this in my own classroom I provide students with a piece of computer paper to use as their final product.
