This bundle includes the unit powerpoint, guided notes, activities, projects, handouts, graphic organizers, etc. spread out to cover each major unit topic. It also has a review jeopardy game, and two quizzes... no answer keys, but they are not overly complex.
***Please note, the unit powerpoint does NOT cover the New Deal or 1920s related topics such as sports, speakeasies, etc. It only analyzes the time period from a GD perspective. There are, however, materials within the bundle that directly correlate to those content areas.
There is also even a supplemental picture powerpoint where students analyze GD photos with an activity at the end. The activity puts the students in the role of a photo journalist who has seen the depravity of the depression and writes a letter to the U.S. government for help.
There is also a 'New Deal' handout where students analyze some of the more significant programs implemented.
The PowerPoint has cool animations, pictures, quotes, and interesting facts/vital content for students. It hits on key components of the Great Depression including what caused it, the stock market crash, and the crippling effects of it on the American people. It is neatly organized and flows well. Look for the asterisks next to certain terms, people, etc... those are there for students to underline/highlight as key information for assessment.
The notes are concise allowing students to focus on the lesson. They also have built in bellworks and focus questions. Please note they contain the content, but not quotes, supplemental information, etc. Basically, everything you need without dragging the kids down in detail.
