Product Description
This is a fun and interactive activity your secondary U.S History students will love! Students will participate in a “meet and greet” with popular celebrities of the 1920’s to learn about the popular culture of this era.

Each student will be assigned a “celebrity” and read aloud their biography to the students in the class as they “mingle” around the room. They will complete critical thinking questions to demonstrate their knowledge of each topic they learn about. As a wrap-up activity they complete an acrostic.

To make it more engaging it is suggested you play 1920’s music in the background and provide costumes and props the students can use for their character. The students will feel as if they stepped back in time!

Celebrities and Topics include:
Henry Ford: Transportation
Charlie Chaplin: Radio & Movies
Alice Stokes Paul - Woman’s Rights
Babe Ruth - Sport Mania
Bruce Barton – Consumerism
