This game reinforces student knowledge and recognition of Defining and Non-Defining Attributes while challenging students to create basic two-dimensional geometric shapes on a Geoboard. This game is great for first grade, but it can also be modified to be more challenging by asking kids to not only name whether or not an attribute is defining, but to also have to show a possible example of the defining attribute (i.e. if the game card says: "4 corners," students must be able to either locate a matching shape, create a matching shape, or name a matching shape in order to get the token).
*You will need to assemble a game board yourself and make a color cube, but I have included everything else for you. My kids love being the "banker!" :) And, "The Secret Answer Book" needs to be copied back to back with the insert:)
