Product Description
This week long power point lesson is made to introduce students to 3 different types of graphs - tally charts, pictographs and bar graphs. The students learn graphing terminology, how to create a graph and answer questions about the graphs. They are then asked to create their own questions and answers about different graphs. The final lesson is comparing the three graphs. This is a great lesson to introduce graphing and get the students ready to create their own graphs in future lessons. There are multiple forms of assessment (white boards and Tickets Out the Door each day) along with student engagement to ensure the students understand the vocabulary and reasons for graphing.
