You are purchasing Common Core math practice sheets aligned to assessment tasks. There is a practice sheet for every day of the week and a test for Friday.
The attachment consists of 10 worksheets designed to reinforce math skills. There are two sheets for each day that can be copied front and back to save paper. The front sheet focuses on the weekly target skill and the back side of the sheet is a review of previously taught skills.
This particular set of sheets focuses on Common Core Math Standard: 1.NBT.6: subtract multiples of 10 in the range 10-90 from multiples of 10 in the range 10-90 (positive or zero differences), using concrete models or drawings and strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction; relate the strategy to a written method and explain the reasoning used.
This set does not include having the students explain how they solved the problems. That will be included in the 4th 9 weeks skill related packet. This set encourages the students to practice subtracting multiples of 10 without being bombarded with having to explain at the same time. That will come in the 4th 9 weeks set of sheets when they have a deeper understanding after sufficient practice.
The back side of the paper is a REVIEW of the following skills:
1.NBT.5 10 Less or 10 More
1.NBT.4 Add within 100 using Ten Frames
The last two sheets in the set are designed to be an assessment and are aligned to the other practice sheets in the set.
