Description
Practice ten more and ten less with 2-digit numbers with these math centers! They align with 1st grade Common Core standard 1.NBT.5 for students to work on 10 more/10 less. They consist of ten more and ten less games and activities! They are designed for you to use in your math centers and rotations.
Included are 4 different math stations for 1st grade 10 more & 10 less:
- Flip a Match: Students will play a matching game to find ten more or ten less.
- Catching Tadpoles: Students will sort all of the 10 more & 10 less tadpoles into the correct jars.
- Mental Math Board Game: Students will play a board game where they will find 10 more and 10 less depending on the number of their spot on the board.
- True/False Sort: Students will determine whether the 10 more or 10 less statement on the card is true or false. If false, students will fix it.
FYI: These centers are very similar to the 2nd Grade 10 & 100 More & Less centers. The activities are the same but follow 1st grade standards!
