There are RSA questions at the end of every lesson in the Everyday Math program. Instead of orally asking my first grade students the questions I typed out a packet of all the RSAs. Each student got a packet for the entire unit (10 units in all) and kept it in his/her desk for the time we were doing that unit. At the end of each lesson the students took out the packet and filled in the answer(s) for the lesson we just finished. I collected the packets at the end of each unit and graded them. There are to RSAs in unit 1 where the teacher has to ask the students one-on-one for the answer and then record on the packet.
I DID NOT make up these RSAs - they came directly from the Everyday Math First Grade Common Core Edition series (from 2012). I just typed up what they had.
