Want to host a family reading/literacy night that your students, families, teachers, and principal will be talking about for days? How about an escape challenge?
Families will read a scenario about being lost in the rainforest. They’ll be given a recording sheet with five challenges to complete. Before printing the recording sheet, you'll need to enter your own text to let the families know where to go for each challenge. The challenges are similar to what you would have at a center or small group. Most of the challenges just need to be printed, laminated, and cut. The completed challenges will lead them to a final code word that will free them from the rainforest!
