You are viewing a print and go ISS work packet for 1st grade. The packet is designed to relieve stress on the teacher and to avoid those frantic searches for extra worksheets for ISS students. This is a good prep ahead of time project and then just grab a folder and go when a student has ISS. The pack includes...
*6 must do activities that revolve around literacy
*15 can do activities that include a variety of math and ELAR activities.
*Alphabet chart, 120 chart, and editing marks page to complete the activities in the pack
*Activities may include: graphing, addition/subtraction, editing sentences, parts of speech, reading comprehension, alliteration, greater than/less than, spelling word and pattern practice, and phonics work.
Instructions on putting together the folders are included.
The pack is easy to incorporate into your daily work-any work that needs to be graded from the ISS day, can be easily added to the must-dos. Any extra work that you have laying around can be added, too.
These worksheets are taken directly from state standards (TEKS) for 1st grade but could be used for 2nd grade students, as well.
These packs are not themed (to avoid any 'fun' factor-ISS is not supposed to be enjoyable!) but consist of plain papers with no graphics-only the work to be done.
EDIT: Be sure to download the labels for the folders at this link (they are free!):
