These calendar pages guide students in completing calendar SUCCESSFULLY. They may be used during calendar time, a separate math lesson, small group, or math stations. With this step by step calendar option, new topics are added one at a time to ensure proficiency.
This product was created because a lot of times we (teachers) get frustrated when students haven’t yet caught on to understanding and applying calendar basics. Students are still making mistakes come January. We need to have high standards; however, we need to be more aware of when and why it isn’t clicking for those little ones. Often times the student isn’t understanding the process or the lesson because it was introduced too quickly, background knowledge is assumed, or the student wasn’t attentive. This product will help each student take ownership in learning!
This product includes areas for the following:
-naming the day, month, date, and year
