In need of differentiated math practice? This set of printables include math fact practice for the addition skill of counting up from the larger number. This set is designed for first grade but would work well for kindergartners who are exceeding grade level expectations or for second graders who are not yet meeting grade level expectations or struggling with certain skills.
This set of printables is differentiated to address your students who are not yet meeting grade level expectations, your students who are meeting grade level expectations and your students who are exceeding grade level expectations. Each sheet is marked at the bottom with an AP (for approaching grade level expectations), AT (for at grade level expectations), and EX (for exceeding grade level expectations). This makes it easy for you to make sure each of your students receives work that correlates with his or her current level of performance while also allowing all students to feel success by working on a similar skill, but at a level that is appropriate for them.
These printables are great for small group work, individual practice, pre-teaching or re-teaching skills and would also work well for homework! You could also teach a whole group lesson on the skill and then give your students their differentiated practice to reinforce what they learned with practice that is at their specific level. These activities are ready to print and use and will meet all of your students’ needs.
