3 Different Packets of 88 math words for 1st grade! It's like getting 3 different resources in one!
Don't see a word you want? Send me a message and I'll add it for you :)
Section 1: Word Wall
Print out and use for a word wall.
Each word is presented full color on one 8.5x11 page.
Each page has a word, a definition, and a picture.
The background correlates with the color system used in Pearson EnVision.
I'd suggest printing on card stock and laminating for extra durability.
You can cut these into sections and have students help you match them at the beginning of each math lesson to help them gain a deeper understanding of the words. Or leave each page whole, and post it as is!
Section 2: Student Version 1
Print these out and make a fun game of memory!
(Laminate on card stock for extra durability)
Each word is represented by a similar graphic/definition as used on the word wall. All are in full color!
You could also hand these sheets out and have students make a personal math dictionary in a folder
Section 3: Student Version 2
Allow students to draw/write their own definitions before putting into a math dictionary, or before playing a game of memory.
Having students create their own definitions allows them to make a more meaningful connection with the words!
The thumbnails represent one page of each section.
