This is the next packet I use after packet part 2. It is an extension of the math and phonics skills we have been working on in class. I use this packet as an independent activity in the morning when students come in in the morning. Some of the reading skills that are practiced are writing sight words, blends, beginning sounds, short vowels, digraphs, rhyming, and final sounds in a word. Math skills that are practiced included adding 0, 1, and doubles, naming shapes, counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s, identifying and counting coins, making the hands on a clock, telling time, and writing the number that comes before and after.
