UPDATED!! 8-6-17 Calendar Journal Updated to the 2017-2018 school year.
This TEKS Texas Tornado Spiral Review was created especially for 1st Grade teachers and is aligned to the NEW, REVISED Math TEKS that were implemented in the 2014-2015 school year. It has EVERYTHING a 1st teacher could need to implement a Daily Math Routine in his/her classroom, including the Calendar Journal &; Number of the Day book! (So if you buy this product, don't buy the separate Calendar Journal because it's included in this product also.)
This is the 4th of 5 parts and has enough work to last 6 WEEKS and is jammed packed with over 440 pages of resources.
It is designed to begin after completing part 3 or on approximately the 25th week of school.
The Spiral Review follows a similar format to what the 1st-5th grades follow….just with a review of 1st Grade TEKS.
It should be used in conjunction with the Calendar Journal, Number of the Day, and Problem of the Day-which are included in this product.
It was created to be a “Bellwork” assignment, but there are lots of other ways to use it in a classroom.
The Calendar Journal/Number of the Day will actually last all year, but I will include it in each part.
You can follow me on TPT to receive an email when the next parts are released.
Please download the PREVIEW to see examples of what you are getting as well as to read a better explanation of the suggested schedule.
If you have any questions before or after you buy, please feel free to send me a question on TPT or email me at email@example.com. You can visit my blog at www.topoftxteacher.blogspot.com to get more information on the Problem of the Day with handouts from workshops I’ve conducted.
I believe Spiral Review is a key component of having a balanced, successful math program. I hope you enjoy this product as much as I had creating it!
IMPORTANT REVISION NOTES:
If you bought Part 4 before Feb. 16 (last school year), this is basically the same product, except—some of the formatting has changed—especially on the Problem of the Day and Number of the Day.
Also…instead of it saying “Week #___,” it says “Set # ___.” The set numbers have changed also because Part 1 includes Sets 1-12, Part 2 includes Sets 13-18, PART 3 includes Sets 19-24. (The old version of Part 3 was called Weeks 13-18), and this part is Part 4-Sets 25-30 (The old version of Part 4 was called Weeks 19-24).
If you already bought Part 4 before February 16, 2015, you will be able to re-download the revised version of the product for free by going to your “Purchased Products” page.
