Product Description
Students often don’t use enough transitions, adverbs, and adjectives when writing. So I came up with a writing format I call “2-4-6”. This means that students should use 2 transitions, 4 adverbs, and 6 adjectives whenever they are writing paragraphs.

Model how to change a boring paragraph into one that has vivid descriptions. Project the following paragraphs on an interactive whiteboard for whole class instruction. These are the light blue slides. The white background slides are ones you might want to print for independent work.

Included in this product are multiple examples of boring paragraphs, spiced-up paragraphs, and paragraphs that need student input to turn the paragraphs into quality work. Pick and choose what works for your class.
