PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This download comes with two speeches from leaders on opposite sides at the beginning of the Cold War. The first speech is from Joseph Stalin in February of 1946, giving his perspective on World War Two, on the Soviet situation and his predictions for the future. The second speech is Winston Churchill's famous Iron Curtain Speech (Sinews of Peace), which occurred one month later in March of 1946. Both documents have text-dependent questions to guide students in analyzing the reading.
