The two communication games, "Simon Says” & “Go Fish” make speech language practice fun. These two speech-language colouring activities help with practicing taking longer talking turns, as well as with giving directions and asking yes/no questions.
Please Note that a speech target is whatever speech or language skill that a child can say or do correctly some of the time. These are appropriate skills to practice. An example of a speech target is a 2-3 word talking turn, or saying a word with the sound //l/ in the middle, as in “balloon”. Other examples of speech targets are giving or following a direction, or answering or asking a yes/no question.
