This presentation was designed to guide the teacher through an in depth lesson on place value. It begins with defining a DIGIT and then has the students identify various digits with interactive slides. Once the students grasp the concept of a DIGIT, it moves to defining a NUMBER and gives examples of that as well. There are several slides that allow the students to identify various numbers based upon place value and several assignments built into the presentation with rubrics to assess.
Examples of assignments include:
Venn Diagrams/Double Bubble Map (for Thinking Map trained campuses)
Dina Zike foldables
This presentation was originally created in Keynote (Mac program), so it has exciting animations built into every click!
