These coloring activities are great for giving students practice with letter recognition. The coloring grids have the letters a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, and i. They are to color each letter a certain color and when they are finished, they will have created a picture. The worksheets are simple and easy to read. The students will love coloring the letters to get to the picture.
Because the worksheets are student-friendly, you could even use them for an independent math center! It also helps with recognition of color words.
The first picture uses only the letters a, b, c, and d to create a frog. This activity is good for distinguishing and recognizing b and d. The second picture uses the letters e, f, g, h, and i to create a fish.
