Quick Check Life Science Vocabulary Puzzles
This set includes 20 Quick Check Life Science Vocabulary Puzzles. Students connect puzzle pieces by matching vocabulary words to the correct definitions. The puzzles are quick checked for accuracy using numbered puzzled pieces. For the teacher to quickly look for pairs of numbers instead of reading and checking each term and definition. The puzzles can be used as a vocabulary introduction, review, collaborative learning opportunity, a station, formative assessment, and/or an individual learning opportunity.
The set includes a puzzle for each of the elements for the Georgia Performance Standards.

Print out the set you want to use. Cut out the puzzle piece rectangles prior to giving the set to students.
Students complete the puzzle by matching the vocabulary term to definition. Once students have completed the puzzle, you can check their answers by simply looking at the order of the numbers in the middle of each card.
You can use the puzzles as an independent practice work and/or assessment.
Provide each student with a copy of the puzzle pieces (previously cut out) and have them independently complete the puzzle.
Group Practice: Provide small groups of students with a set of puzzle pieces (previously cut out) and have them collaborate and complete the puzzle.
