I created these literacy centers to use during the month of January. There are 20 different centers which include covers with a title and directions, 12 task cards, recording sheets and answer keys.
I made them for my third graders, but some of these skills are taught in second and fourth grade, as well.
I print, laminate, and organize them in 2 ten drawer rolling organizers. Each student completes one center every day and with 20 centers, they have a new skill to review everyday for the entire month. They just take the drawers out and complete the center at their seats.
You can also use these cards to play Scoot or print enough copies for each student in your small group and place them in plastic sleeves so the students can mark the text. They are great to use at the beginning of the Literacy Block as a spiral review. Just place a few cards, one at at time, on the document camera and have the students answer using a dry erase board.
The only cards I cut apart are the cards that require the students to match.
