This is a simple worksheet with 4 possible election scenarios (two victories for Obama, two for McCain). Students can use a pre-made electoral vote map or can make their own using a blank U.S. map. The worksheet comes complete with a color-coded answer key. I use this in my 4-5-6 grade classroom. 4th graders did it in groups, but it works as either a group or individual work. It is a great lesson for math (simple addition) and geography, as well as providing a deeper understanding about how the electoral voting process works.
