Now includes a full-color option along with the less color option for more B&W printing.
I really wanted to buy an Erin Condren teacher planner before school started, but I waited too long and it wouldn't be here until after the first day of school. So, I decided to make my own. I used my favorite things to make it: hedgehogs, my favorite colors, and my favorite pattern. I think it turned out really cute!
I created the two fonts that are used throughout the planner and they are included for free, in the planner document.
There is a total of 101 fully editable pages to the teacher planner. The different pages available are: front and back binder/planner cover pages, a blank table of contents page, weekly lesson plan templates for each month, grade recording sheets for each quarter, birthday celebrations sheets to document student birthdays, student/family information sheets for parent names, emails, addresses, and phone numbers, a test scores sheet for recording standardized test results, two options for parent communication records, my 2015-2016 school calendar available for FREE in my store
, and a substitute survival guide that you can include in your planner or in a separate binder/planner. The substitute pages include: a seating chart page, a class schedule page, a bell schedule page, two different routines pages, a helpful people page, and a page for the substitute to write down notes.
I have included a fully editable PowerPoint and a non-editable PDF. I tried to tailor the planner to teachers at all levels: elementary through high school by including different versions of some of the pages that accommodate different periods/hours that middle school and high school teachers may have. For example, I created test score sheets that include 1st period. I did not create separate sheets for different class periods because I didn't want the file to be extremely large. You can easily duplicate the PowerPoint slide, and change the text for the amount of class periods you have. Also, for the lesson plans, I only included one blank page for one week of plans. You will need to print out the correct number you will need for each month. Again, I did this to make the file size smaller.
I find it is easiest to customize your planner by opening the blank PowerPoint file I have included and then copying and pasting the slides/pages you want from my planner to the blank file. This way you can put it in any order that you like!
I created the two fonts that are used throughout my planner as well as the background images and borders. I did not make the hedgehog clipart, I just love hedgehogs and wanted to incorporate them into my planner. I found the adorable hedgehog clipart I used from ClipArt-Corner for $5 from http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Myclipartstore
