I'm not sure if any of you have run across this in your years of teaching, but I always have a hard time finding teacher supplies geared towards middle school/high school; everything is so elementary school focused. Most lesson planners I've found in teacher supply stores are a little too young-feeling and are never formatted with a 6 or 7 period day in mind.
So, instead of dropping $60 on a custom planner, I just went ahead and made my own template to print, bind, and use this year. Figured I would put it up on my store to see if anyone else is looking for a planner better suited for a middle school/high school teacher :)
- Weekly layout
- 7 periods a day Monday-Friday
- Small spots for Saturday and Sunday
- Header notes section
- Header unit section
- Header monthly calendar
- Weekly "To Do" checklist
- Parent/guardian contact log
- Pages for general notes
This file is 104 pages, or 52 pages when you copy it double sided.
All you need to do is pick the type of paper you want to use, print, and bind it (or stick it in a 3 ring if you're feeling lazy!)
This file is a PDF, meaning that you cannot alter or move anything within it. This means you will have to hand write in anything you want added (classes, units, etc.)
If you are looking for something that you can customize, purchase the PDF, then email me and I will email you the word format for free :) (I tried uploading the word version to TPT but the format got all messed up.)
This is a new project for me, and I designed it according to what I always wanted to see in my teacher planner. That being said, if you have ideas for what I could add/change in future planners, please feel free to message me ideas :)
