Updated for the 2016-2017 school year!
Check out my blog post
on how these work in my personal classroom!
These behavior calendars are a great way to increase ownership of student behavior and parent communication. I personally used these calendars with my classroom clip chart and received good results and feedback from students and parents.
I put these inside a 3 prong plastic folder with a page protector. Students colored in the corresponding colors to match my clip chart. Whatever their clip was moved up or down to was colored in on the page. Parents would know why the child’s color was orange or red because of the behavior code.
If you don’t use a clip chart, you can add your own behavior system on the “chartless” behavior calendars. Also, the months of October, November, December, and April have a “holiday free” theme to avoid any students who do not celebrate certain holidays.
Also included is a classroom behavior clip chart to match the first set of behavior calendars, as well as a blank behavior chart to match whatever your needs are, and calendars to match, too!
