There are many ways these calendars can be used! Listed below are just a few! Comment how you would use this calendar in the feedback section!
--As a behavior calendar—My students on behavior plans will color their calendar at the end of the day. If they met their behavior goal, they color the box green, if they were close or maybe made a couple of bad choices but turned it around, they color the box yellow, and if they had a bad day, they color the box red (surprisingly after coloring a box red, it doesn’t happen very frequently after that because they see all of their peers coloring the boxes green/yellow)! In my special education classroom, a green day also gets them free time or a piece of candy at the end of the day!
--Reading calendar: Students color the box if they did the required amount of reading (ex. 20 minutes) or they write in how many minutes they read at home.
--Attendance/Homework Completion: Students color/mark the box to show if they completed their homework/were at school that day.
