This overview of each semester for the 2018-2019 school year is sorted monthly by columns. Each week is shaded differently to easily identify when each week begins and ends.
This calendar can be used to map out the pacing of curriculum for a subject as an overview to make sure that deadlines are being met. Typically, I will draw a line with a marker on where a quarter ends to make a mental note to myself. In each of the dates, I put the lesson/topic we will be going over in class that day. I always do this in pencil because as everyone knows, plans are constantly changing.
At the beginning of the year, I make an original copy that I can refer back to throughout the year without making changes to compare how on track I stay with my math curriculum. I then print out a second copy to have that I make the changes to based on assemblies, snow days, etc. This is my second year utilizing this calendar/planner and I am anxious to compare where I am at with lessons this year versus last year.
In addition, I have printed and used this product as an individual record keeping for behavior plans and student progress. Parents and principals can utilize this for documentation of activities, meetings etc.
In all of my organization, I assign a specific color to each month and stay consistent with it throughout the year. This way, if I am progress monitoring and filing student work, I copy the assessments onto that color. Doing so allows me to easily identify what month the student to each assessment that I file away for case conferences and parent meetings. That is the reasoning behind the colored months.
Within this download, you will receive both a powerpoint and word document for the calendars. This way, if need be you can edit the dates, school days and colors on the word document.
