Looking for an easy, daily math warm-up for your students?
This complete set of math problem of the day calendars includes a simple, black and white calendar for each month of the year.
The fun twist is that each day the solution to the math problem is equal to the date!
Kids love this fun and simple daily challenge, but if you don't want to use this daily, there are tons of other tips and ideas for ways you can use these calendars.
Also included is a blank calendar, so if you'd like to use these as cut and paste puzzles, kids can solve the problems and then glue them down into the blank calendar.
Complete the entire month at once, or complete one week at a time.
Also new for the upper grades are "create your own" challenges throughout each calendar. So approximately once a week, kids are challenged to come up with their own amazing math problem (using whatever math skills you're currently teaching) with a given solution.
For example, one day might say, "Create your own amazing problem with a solution of 12."
**Topics Covered on These Math Problem of the Day Calendars:
--Operations with integers
--Operations with fractions and decimals
--Order of operations
--Solving linear equations
--Area and perimeter
--Surface area and volume
--PLUS, the "create your own" challenges
These low-prep, daily math challenges are an easy way to review skills, or provide simple review at home (if you choose to send them home).
