Help your school's students avoid the summer slide without using reams of paper to copy large activity packets!!!
This is a bundle of CCSS aligned Summer Activity Calendars for grades K-5. The actual bundle was too large to upload to TpT, so upon purchasing the bundle you will download a .pdf document with a Google Drive link for the bundle. You save over 25% by buying this bundle vs. buying each calendar set separately!
Each calendar set consists of only 8-10 pages (depending on the grade level), so you don't have to use reams of paper making copies for your students. You can use the link below to see detailed descriptions of the calendar sets for each grade level:

What types of academic skills do these calendars cover?
The calendars have one activity each day. If today's activity addresses ELA standard(s), then tomorrow's activity will be a math activity. The activities alternate each day between ELA and Math. If you'd like to see specific examples of the calendar activities, use the link at the bottom of this page to access a specific grade level, and download the preview. The previews for each grade level include full page examples of the parent letter, "helpful hints" pages, and the full June calendar for that grade level.
My school gets out in June and goes back in the middle of August. How will the custom date ranges accommodate that?
I understand different school systems use different dates for their summer break, so I created 25 different sets of .pdf calendars to cover the date ranges below. All you have to do is pick the date range that most closely matches your district's summer break, then print! Here are this year's date ranges:

Are the calendars for each grade level for children who are repeating that grade, children who are moving on to the next grade, or both?
Both. The activities in each grade level's calendars are aligned to CCSS standards for the grade level listed. Therefore, students who use the calendars will be practicing skills they learned this past school year. Children who will repeat the same grade next year will have a chance to work on some of the skills they didn't master this past school year. Children who will go on to the next grade will be able to maintain the academic skills they learned this year so they will be ready for the next grade's curriculum content when school starts.
What about students who are functioning well below or well above their current grade level?
That is one of the biggest advantages of purchasing this bundle - it allows you to differentiate for children who need a great deal of intervention and/or enrichment. The calendars are not marked with the grade level they correspond to, so students will not know if they are given calendars for a different grade level than the calendars their classmates were given. You even have the flexibility to give an individual student calendars for more than one grade level! For example, a 3rd grade student who is reading at a Kindergarten/1st grade level but is working at (or near) 3rd grade level in math will most likely benefit from being given the 1st grade and 3rd grade calendars - you would just need discreetly label the calendars with the correct grade levels and let that student's parents know to use the 1st grade calendars for ELA activities and use the 3rd grade calendars for the math activities. My advise is to use the data you've gathered for each student this school year to make an educated guess about what grade level(s) they may need.
Will I have to buy this resource again next year? This resource is a bit pricey compared to other summer calendar products available on TpT, and I want to make sure I'm getting my money's worth.
I totally get that! I have been updating these calendars each year at no additional charge, so buyers only have to purchase them once (that's why the price is a bit higher than other summer calendar resources). All you have to do next year is wait for the e-mail indicating they've been updated, then go to your "My Purchases" page and download the updated file. I intend to continue to update this resource (free of charge) each and every year for as long as I am a seller on TpT.
Can I use this resource for all students at my school?
Certainly! This bundle includes one user license for each grade level from Kindergarten through 5th grade. All you have to do is purchase an extra license for each additional classroom or homeroom teacher you want to share the calendars with (i.e. 1 licence for each classroom). You wouldn't need to purchase licences for your art, music, & EC resource teachers because their students would be covered under their homeroom teacher's license. Extra licenses are tpically 10% off the regular product price, but I understand that school budgets get REALLY tight at the end of the school year. To make sure you and your school can afford to use this resource, I've discounted extra licenses to 75% off!!!!!
Each extra license for this bundle covers 6 teachers. Use the links below to access information about TpT for Schools:
