This webquest was written with my class in mind: 4th graders who (on average) read below grade level and easily get overwhelmed if information is difficult to find. They also are new to researching and navigating web sites.
We live in the USA, but the BEST web site for kids on the Winter Olympics is a Canadian one. The official olympic.org web site is too difficult for my students to read. This webquest uses the Canadian site, but I tried to write the questions with Americans in mind. This site also does not appear to allow the videos to be played outside of Canada.
To have my students do a webquest, I put the link into Google Classroom so that they just need to click on it. The web site is: http://www.cbc.ca/cbckidsolympics
Then, I print the webquest out double-sided on one sheet.
I hope this helps another class get introduced to the 2018 Winter Olympics!
