You have an opportunity to go to the 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo, Japan. First, you need to learn more about the history of the Olympic Games, winter sports, and the country of Japan. 3. Japan and Summer Games – Read informational text about Japan

4. Japan Graphic Organizer – Complete the graphic organizer about the country

5. Olympic History – Read informational text to learn about the history of the Olympics.

6. Olympic Symbols – Complete the information sheet about the Olympic Symbols.

7. Favorite Male Athlete – Complete the bio about your favorite male athlete

8. Favorite Female Athlete - Complete the bio about your favorite female athlete

9. Favorite Olympic Sport – Complete the activity with a description of the sport with rules.

10 Complete your schedule – Choose 4 events to attend.

11. Record medals for USA and USA’s competing countries

12. What sport do you think should be eliminated? Explain why

13. What sport do you think should be added to the Olympics? Explain why

14. Draw Selfies of you at the Olympics

15. Design your own Olympic T-shirt

16.. Design and write about your own Olympic medal.

17. Google Maps™ – Use Google Maps to locate the venues of the events. Or, special landmarks

18. Be a Reporter of the Olympics or you can be an Olympic Athlete
