Product Description
I have been compiling these quotes since 2014 (3+ years).

They have inspired, challenged, and moved me.

I have shared them with my students and love to see the wheels turning and the light bulbs bursting! I hope you experience the same.

These are NOT random quotes from the internet. They're from my own personal reading and listening throughout the past 3+ years.

--- HOW YOU *CAN* USE THESE ---

First off, I am a math teacher. Yet I use these.
I let my students know that they are practicing towards becoming wonderful and helpful adults. That even in math class, where we practice dealing with new, frustrating, and taxing ideas, we can focus on building our character and having a growth mindset.

1. Show one a day in class. Have a 5-minute discussion

2. Let students choose from a grouping of your choosing and they write a response.

3. Post them around your class.

4. Put them on the bottom of worksheets, email signatures, web pages, etc.

5. Research the author of the quote. Who, what, when, where, and why?

6. A character building assignment where a student has to focus on a quote, share it with others, write about their experience, and/or tell how it has changed them for the better or not.

7. Take any of the above ideas and have students present orally, via recording, or peer to peer.

8. I would love to hear more ways in which you have used these in your schools, classrooms, and lives because we could all use such inspiration.
