William McKinley was the 25th president of the United States. This graphic organizer will help students organize information about important facts of his life and presidency.
It provides space for information of McKinley’s acts as President including accomplishments such as His Open Door Policy with China and information about his response to sinking of the battleship USS Maine. Students can also include information of McKinley’s policy decisions. Some suggestions are given in this organizer that could be used – or teachers can tailor to suit their classroom needs.
Also in this graphic organizer are spaces for general “trivia” information and Biographical information.
This "cartoon" graphic organizer has been used in middle and high school regular education and special education classroom settings with a lot of success. It can be used as a group classroom activity or as individual student work.
