Keep a look out for upcoming products to use with Seesaw. I am working on number identification/counting packets.
It is always difficult for me to give speaking and explanation assessments in Kindergarten because it takes a long time and leaves the rest of the students to work “independently.” So, I created these activities so my students could self-assess using Seesaw.
This product contains a ZIP file of a PDF and a folder of PNG images of activities and assessments in English for use with Seesaw. It also includes images of QR codes with video examples I recorded for EACH ACTIVITY.
This file contains:
Shape searches for the following: triangle, circle, square, rectangle, hexagon, sphere, cube, cone, and cylinder WITH EXAMPLES. Students circle and record their voice in Seesaw to describe the figures.
4 assessments where students name either 2d or 3d shapes.
Activities where students must name, describe, and draw each 2d figure. I did not include this activity for 3D shapes because students should be using real objects they can touch.
Activities to compare the following shapes: square with rectangle, circle with hexagon, triangle with square, cube with sphere, cylinder with cone, square with cube, sphere with circle, and triangle with cone. The examples use the following vocabulary: (solid/flat, it can stack/it can roll, sides, faces, and vertices).
2 more examples of a classroom shape search were students find and describe the shape in the classroom (that also use the above vocabulary).
The examples can be viewed through Seesaw (with the Scan QR code button).
